Written and directed by Alex van Warmerdam, the thriller centers on Gunter’s journey of self-discovery. After wandering into the forest as a four-year-old, Gunter is taken in by a foster family. He grows up to become a stage actor with an ordinary life. One day, Gunter meets a stranger while crossing a bridge. The stranger whispers one word in his ear and leaves. This encounter pushes Gunter to revisit his past and explore his real origins. The mystery co-stars Tom Dewispelaere, Frieda Barnhard, and Hans Kesting.
