Synopsis
In 1972, the National Black Political Convention unfolded in the small town of Gary, Indiana, allowing black Americans from across the country to come together and speak their truths. The convention attracted activists such as Jesse Jackson, Dick Gregory, and Coretta Scott King, adding a new dimension to the American political climate on the basis of race.
