Dikkertje Dap is born on the same day as his best friend Raf, a giraffe. Because his grandfather is caretaker in the zoo, Dikkertje is often found with Raf. They are inseparable and share everything until Dikkertje goes to school for the first time and finds out that giraffes are not allowed to attend. Going to school creates exciting new things, Dikkertje even makes a new friend, Yous. Raf misses Dikkertje and would like to go to school. That's why Dikkertje plans to bring the giraffe to school and bring his two friends together.
