Milan, Italy's legendary La Scala mounted this elaborate production of Gaetano Donizetti's 1835 operaMaria Stuarda in 2008, with Anna Caterina Antonacci, Mariella Devia, Paola Gardina and Francesco Meli n the principal roles. The Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro Alla Scala provide musical accompaniment under the baton of Antonino Fogliani.
