Synopsis by Mark Deming

Chilean action star Marko Zaror shows off the skills and charisma that made him a major box office draw in South America in this thriller. Mandrill (Zaror) became an orphan at an early age when a gang of thugs murdered his parents. The boy was taken in by his uncle Chone (Alejandro Castillo), who taught young Mandrill how to defend himself through an exhaustive course in the martial arts. Mandrill became a prodigy in battle, and now makes his living as a hit man; working for an underworld syndicate, he's a suave but deadly killer for hire who hopes to someday find and take out the men who killed his Mom and Dad. Career and personal ambitions come together when Mandrill is assigned to kill a man involved in his parent's murder, but his emotions get in the way when he falls for Dominik (Celine Reymond), the beautiful daughter of the man he's supposed to eliminate. Mandrill was directed by Ernesto Diaz Espinoza, who collaborated with Marko Zaror on several of his most successful pictures.
