Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Mai Lanyok (Modern Girls) is all about five young ladies who set up their own interior-decorating firm. One of the girls is an heiress but won't be permitted to claim her legacy until she is married. To save her friends' business, she agrees to wed a perfect stranger. It is only after a series of comic complications that our heroine decides it's high time to fall in love with her husband -- or at least, to try her best. Among the leading players in Mai Lanyok is Steven Geray, who went on to a lengthy career as a character actor in Hollywood.
