A group of macho teenagers does all the "right" guy things; they drink beer and hang together looking for who they can pick up -- since their second interest after themselves is women. One of the group (Luc) feels more and more distant from his buddies and their pursuits until he follows his own natural inclination and has sex with a hip biker -- and is so overcome by the recognition of his homosexuality that he tries to commit suicide. From that point onward, the film handles the "growing up" of Luc, and of his friends, in the confidant tones that only a teacher can know and love. The movie was co-produced by the Quebec Ministry of Education and Three Rivers College.
