A shy logician of a German mail order company, Matthias Bleuel, is sent to Kemerovo in Siberia by his Russian boss to set up a German work flow system in the Russian subsidiary company. He says yes simply because he is too weak to say no. Wearing a heavy down coat and carrying pepper spray, Bleuel expects to face danger, snow and ice. But in the mystical summer landscape he soon falls in love with traditional singer Sajana and can't recognize himself any more.
