This documentary profiles renowned pianist, composer, and conductor Lalo Schifrin. Over the years Schifrin has written the scores for a multitude of film and television soundtracks, including Mission Impossible, Cool Hand Luke, and Bullitt. In addition, he has performed in and conducted jazz concerts with such musical legends as Dizzy Gillespie, Julia Migenes, Ray Brown, and Grady Tate. This program features an exclusive interview with Schifrin as he talks about his illustrious career and his many musical inspirations and influences. Also included are clips from his soundtracks and concert highlights.
