After her mother dies, teenager Aleteia Benevides (Monica Betancourt) finds herself living with her stepfather in California. Being a political and non-conformist immigrant teenager, she struggles to find footing in her new school and fit in with other girls her age. Rosarito (Kailei Lopez), however, finds her feisty personality admirable and decides to befriend her. As the two get to know each other and become close, they are faced with the harsh reality of the ever-changing American society. Written and directed by Patricia Vidal Delgado.
