Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Manga artist Kazuhiro Kiuchi continues the story of his 1991 work Carlos with this blood-soaked gangland sequel. After his native Brazil rejected his deportation request, Carlos (Naoto Takenaka) is a man without a nation. After finishing an eight-year prison sentence for picking a fight with the dreaded Yamashiro gang, he is a man essentially without a future. As Carlos sits down for his first meal after leaving prison, a sandal lands in his bowl. The errant footwear belongs to Satomi (Kyoko Koizumi), a waitress who is getting thrashed by her thuggish husband. Carlos calmly gets up, smashes the cad in the head with the sandal, and saunters out the door. Wanting to flee her abusive marriage, Satomi chases after him. Later, Carlos happens upon Kaji (Masataka Naruse), a yakuza who, along with a group of underlings, pilfered a suitcase of money from the Yamashiro. Bleeding and near death, he entrusts the dough and his subordinates to Carlos. When the money is brusquely removed from his care, Carlos plots bloody revenge. Meanwhile, the Yamashiro hire the ruthless pair of killers (Yuya Uchida and Mikio Osawa) to whack the Brazilian.
