Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Texas Ranger Jack Keith (silent cowboy star Roy Stewart) discovers a murdered pair of squatters and is himself accused of their killing. He escapes from the jail and heads for an out-of-the-way cabin where he finds Hope Waite (Josie Sedgewick). The leader of the bandit gang responsible for the killings, Black Bart (Herbert Gills), stops by, and Keith and Hope flee. Black Bart tracks Hope down to a boarding house and shows her a check which he stole from the dead squatters. Hope, it turns out, has a sister (also played by Josie Sedgewick) and they, along with their father, are reunited. Black Bart and his gang, meanwhile, are served justice by the Rangers, and Keith and Hope wind up together. Director Cliff Smith did solid work on a lot of Westerns, but even he couldn't make much sense of this scrambled mess of a plot.
