Director Dawn Porter’s documentary explores the life and legacy of John Lewis, a longtime U.S. Representative for Georgia's 5th congressional district and veteran civil rights leader. Using rare archival footage as well as more current interviews with Lewis, his family, and his contemporaries, it examines his formidable track record for social activism and legal reform over the past six decades.
