Ethel Merman portrays one of the lonely women awaiting their divorce decrees in Reno, Nevada. She tells of her sadness in the song 'Shadows On The Wall'. However, her husband suddenly shows up to effect a reconciliation, and the jubilant Merman belts out 'Wipe That Frown Right Off Your Face'.
