Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
After Nazi officer Reinhard Heydrich was killed in 1942 by rebel Czechs, the SS immediately punished an innocent group of Czech citizens. They went into the small village of Lidice and killed all 182 of the men living there. They then sent all of the village's women and children to a concentration camp. Eighty-two of the children died in the camp's gas chambers. This film focuses on Jerri Zbiral and her mother's stories about how their ancestors lived and died in that small village.
