It's the Ricardos' 13th wedding anniversary, and Lucy (Lucille Ball) and Ricky (Desi Arnaz) are looking forward to celebrating the occasion with a quite, intimate evening -- complete with champagne and candlelight -- at home. But Fred (William Frawley) and Ethel (Vivian Vance) have other ideas: they want to honor their neighbors' anniversary with an elaborate (and noisy) surprise party. Appearing as one of the partygoers is Lucille Ball's lifelong friend Barbara Pepper, best known for her portrayal of Doris Ziffel on Green Acres.
