Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Co-written and directed by Joshua Enck, this drama focuses on how the poem ”I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day,” which later became a noteworthy Christmas carol, came to be. Penned by American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (Stephen Atherholt), the story unearths the sociopolitical circumstances surrounding Henry before he wrote the piece. As the Civil War breaks out, his son enlists as a soldier without his blessing. His wife also suffers from a burn incident. Christmas seems to be dark for him, but the tide later changes. The drama co-stars Jonathan Blair and Rachel Day Hughes.
