Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Takis Vouyouklakis directed this delightful vehicle for Greek comedienne Aliki Vouyouklaki, adapted from her own treatment by Lakis Michaelidis. Vouyouklaki plays Aliki, who is famous for her impersonations of Charlie Chaplin. When her father (Lavrentis Dianellos), the head of a travelling vaudeville troupe, suddenly passes away, the lonely Aliki journeys to Athens with her dog Blackie to find a job. She is taken in by one of her father's former employees (Katy Lambropoulou), who has five children and another on the way by her criminal husband (Nikos Rizos), who keeps being arrested for petty theft. While looking for work, Aliki runs into a blind college student named Peter (Nikos Galanos), who is in love with a woman he can never have. Aliki helps him deal with his broken heart, and eventually he falls in love with her.
