The destination in this episode of PBS Home Video's Hidden World series is Arizona's Painted Desert. In Hidden Worlds: Life in the Triassic Park, the viewer is lead on a tour of an ancient period of history. Learn how archeologists have pieced together a coherent history of life in the Triassic period through the findings made here in the harsh environment of the Painted Desert. The program explores the development of modern species by looking at the fossils of those that died tens of thousands of years ago. Additionally the viewer is taken on a tour of a petrified forest in search of fossilized dinosaur tracks.
