Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Too busy with administrational matters to direct all the Keystone releases of 1913, Mack Sennett assigned the direction of Her New Beau to Henry "Pathe" Lehrman. Fred Mace heads the cast as a judge whose pocket watch is on the blink. Unbeknownst to Mace, his daughter Mabel Normand takes the watch to her sweetheart Mack Sennett for repair. Alas, Sennett loses the watch, leading to a series of farcical complications culminating with an all-out donnybrook in Mace's courtroom. Her New Beau was released on the same reel as On His Wedding Day.
