Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Inspired by Woody Allen's award-winning 1986 film Hannah and Her Sisters, Hana and Her Brothers centers around the life of Martin, a sensitive young boy stuck in the middle of a crazy family. Making matters even harder for Martin are the dawning questions surrounding his sexuality--he is not interested in chasing girls, but is hardly sure of his attitude towards other boys. As he grows older, he becomes increasingly determined to escape his family and find out who he really is. Vlado Adasek, the director, admits that the film is very much a self-portrait of himself as he was three years ago.
