Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
Veronica (Laysla De Oliveira), a high school teacher, faces charges of using her authority to harm one of her students. As her father Jim (David Thewlis) struggles to negotiate an early release for her, she continues to stubbornly reject his assistance. Their tense relationship and his frustrations ultimately affect his career as a food inspector, and things soon begin to go awry. Written and directed by Atom Egoyan, co-starring Luke Wilson.
