Director Nick Searcy’s crime drama is based on investigative journalists Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer’s bestselling 2017 nonfiction expose Gosnell: The Untold Story of America's Most Prolific Serial Killer. Earl Billings plays Kermit Gosnell, an abortion doctor who was convicted for three counts of murder and the involuntary manslaughter of one of his patients in 2013.
