South Africa is the destination as PBS presents another in its series of travel guides. Big game can be seen at a few of the private game preserves. Then there are diamonds and gold in the mines around Johannesburg. An ostrich ranch is visited, a bush barbeque is held, and the PBS crew members observe Zulu warriors in action. A trip to the Stellenbosch wine country offers an opportunity to sample the fruit of South African vineyards. Joseph Shabadala and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, local musicians made famous by their collaborations with Paul Simon, also put in an appearance.
