Two disparate teenage rivals vie for the affections of a pretty newcomer at their L.A. high school in this romantic drama. Washington, D.C. teen Mandy Meyers (Gia Mantegna) was preparing to graduate from high school when her father's job necessitated an unexpected move to L.A. Despite remaining optimistic about her new school and viewing the move as a chance to start a new life, Mandy is quickly befriended by the two most popular - a most cruel - girls in school. Meanwhile, a charming stoner (Escher Holloway) and an ego-driven football player (Daniel Booko) have noticed Mandy, too, and both are equally determined to be the one who sweeps their gorgeous new classmate off her feet.
