Summer is winding to a close, and it begins to look like the Dillon Panthers have quite a challenge ahead of them if they hope to achieve the same level of success that they did last season. As the locals try to beat the heat at the municipal pool, handsome lifeguard "the Swede" catches the eyes of the ladies. Despite the fact that Julie doesn't want to be anywhere near the late-term Tami, the expectant mother can't help but that the opportunity to cool off by taking a quick dip. When she does, her water breaks and she's rushed to the hospital, where she gives birth to healthy baby Grace. Meanwhile, Julie seems too preoccupied to clean up and visit with her newborn sister, and Landry ponders trying out for the team before having a harrowing encounter in the parking lot of the local grocery store.
