Synopsis

The documentary "Fox vs. Franken" by Chris Hegedus and Nick Doob recalls the legal battle between the Fox News Network and satirist Al Franken over Franken's book "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right." Fox argued that "fair and balanced" in the book's title might confuse readers into thinking the comedian was affiliated with the network. U.S. District Court Judge Denny Chin deemed the book title a parody deserving of First Amendment protection.
