Synopsis by Travis Norris
A desperate mother saves up as much money as she can to build a road for her wheelchair-bound son. Living in a small Himalayan village, she must procure the road so her son can safely travel to therapy. Her husband, who believes the concept of physiotherapy is a sham, steals her savings in an effort to heal him through a shamanic ritual known as Jaagar. This 2021 Sundance selection is written and directed by Ajitpal Singh.
