Synopsis

A man finds himself owing a gangster with a bad track record. To pay him back, he enters an illegal race from Mexico to California for a chance to win its $5 million cash reward. He then meets the gangster's ex who had just stolen evidence of his crimes. They both race across the desert with the common goal of bringing the gangster down.
