Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This extremely plodding drama finds Ethel Armstrong (Grace Darling) and her father Henry (E.J. Ratcliffe) looking forward to her marriage to the ambitious attorney Bruce Steele (Charles Waldron). Bruce is elected district attorney and goes after a group of food profiteers. Ethel breaks the engagement when her father falls under suspicion as one of the food hoarders. Although Henry is innocent, he plays along in order to reunite the couple in this implausible story.
