The first episode of the SciFi Network's original series Eureka set the tone for this off-kilter small-town mystery, which occupies a space somewhere between the X-Files, Twin Peaks and Northern Exposure. Eureka is a place where the government's best and brightest went to live after the development of the A-bomb; now, years later, US Marshal Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) stumbles across the town with his daughter Zoe (Jordan Hinson). When they become embroiled in a missing-child search -- complete with mysterious vortexes and other supernatural occurences -- it looks like they're there to stay.
