Synopsis by Nathan Southern
As mounted and performed in 2010 and originally aired in the United States via PBS, this concert film pays homage to Elaine Paige, long regarded by many as "The First Lady of British Musical Theater." The film witnesses Paige assuming the stage and performing a series of 23 hits, en homage to her 40th anniversary in show business. Selections include: "I Don't Know How to Love Him," "Hello Young Lovers," "Shoot the Breeze," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "Memory," and many more, including "Small Packages," a new song written exclusively for Paige.
