Michael Rowe (Leap Year) wrote and directed this portrait of a Quebec couple trapped in an unhappy marriage. David (Paul Doucet), a fortysomething recovering alcoholic, works at a nursing home to support his family, but his wife, a Russian immigrant named Maya (Suzanne Clement), belittles his contributions and only seems interested in TV shows and video games.
