Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on America, Arab-Americans across the country braced themselves in fear of unjust reprisals from their enraged fellow citizens. One young Arab-American took matters into his own hands in what may perhaps be the most American manner possible: He ran for Congress. As the viewer follows Maad Abu-Ghazalah in his attempts to gain support from his community and the war in Iraq begins to simultaneously unfold, Ghazalah slowly learns that people are much more inclined to demonstrate than they are to actually vote.
