Jack Randall, aka Addison Randall, always deserved better than what he got. A competent enough actor possessing a fine baritone, Randall had the ill fortune of signing with Monogram, whose B-Westerns were notoriously sluggish. Drifting Westward was actually not among the company's worst offenders, merely indistinguishable from hundreds that had come before.
