Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Yakon, one of several dormant monsters freed by the villainous sorcerer Babidi, attacks Goku. In order to prevent Yakon from sapping his strength in order to revive the malevolent Majin Buu, Goku must fight as he has never fought before. Meanwhile, the gloating Babidi sits on the sidelines, using his conjuring skills to make certain that Yakon emerges triumphant. Originally telecast in Japan in 1993, "Next Up, Goku" aired in the United States on October 18, 2001.
