When Profit, a Brooklynite drug dealer and illiterate child of dope fiends, finds himself in the middle an aggressive gentrification plot, a fight for control forces him to take a stance. The war begins after the murder of Oscar, who controls the neighboring housing complex and is also the nephew of the ambitious Santiago, a man scheming to control all three projects with the help of unscrupulous business men. The plot goes awry when Isis, the Rastafarian girlfriend of Oscar, seeks revenge.
