Dinner in America, directed by Adam Carter Rehmeier, tells the story of an on-the-run punk rocker and his obsessive fan. Simon (Kyle Gallner) is a punk rock singer frustrated with his band and on the run from the law. He encounters Patty (Emily Skeggs) by chance, and it turns out that she is obsessed, to put it mildly, with him and his band. With neither knowing who the other is, Patty helps Simon when the cops want to arrest him. This encounter leads to love and adventure as the two journey together through the suburbs and plays out across three uncomfortable middle-class America dinners.
