Synopsis by Rachel Sprovtsoff
Director Song Il-gon (Feather in the Wind, The Magicians) tells the story of fifth- and sixth-generation Korean immigrants living in Cuba in this documentary. Since the mid-1860s, Koreans have been emigrating to other countries and Dance of Time catches up with a small, established community that has survived wars and revolutions to prosper in Cuba's socialist climate. Il-gon also captures Cuba's vibrant vistas and spirited music.
