Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Anna Friel, Sean Astin, and Kelsey Grammer star in writer-director S.E. DeRose’s romantic drama. A Southern belle becomes a women’s rights activist during the political upheavals of the 1960s. After facing economic hardship for the first time (due to her father’s death), she convinces a congressman to help her introduce legal reforms that will improve the lives and livelihoods of white and black women alike.
