A floundering teenager struggles to get his life back on track after falling in with the wrong crowd and engaging in risky behavior that threatens to derail his once-bright future. Bruce is a good student from a loving home, but lately he's fallen into a self-destructive cycle of hard partying and underage drinking. His mother is deeply concerned about his well being, so in order to steer him in the right direction she enlists the aid of his girlfriend Monica to get him involved with a NASA supported robotics team at school. Perhaps with a little help from family and friends, Bruce will be able to remember what's really important in life and begin working toward a more positive goal.
