This biographical documentary film directed by Jesus Garces Lambert recounts the life, career and struggles of the world-renowned Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio. Featuring interviews with distinguished voices in the world of the arts alongside a narrative reenacting the highs and lows of Caravaggio’s life, (played by Marigliano Emanuele) this geographical tour of 5 European cities filmed in 15 places of art and spanning over 40 of his works. Screenplay by Laura Allievi.
