Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
In 2007, social worker Joe Patane and his good friend, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, invited ten "emotionally and behaviorally challenged" New Jersey youths ages 14-20 into Wozniak's home as part of The Patane Foundation's "Dream Camps," as filmmakers Drew J Foster and Jarrad Kritzstein captured the inaugural week of the event on camera for posterity. "Dream Camps" is a new form of camping that aims to nurture creativity, independence, community sensibility, and - in this case specifically - technology, to teenagers and young adults whose conditions make it difficult for them to satisfy these needs through more traditional means.
