Synopsis by Nathan Southern

As comprised of future jazz musicians Jeff Berlin, Annette Peacock, Alan Holdsworth and Bill Bruford, as well as future pop-rock star Dave Stewart (of Stewart and Gaskin fame), the cutting edge electronic rock band Bruford made only two documented public appearances and folded not long after it formed, in 1979. The home video release Bruford: BBC Rock Goes to College - Live 1979 features one of those appearances, shot on March 7, 1979 at Oxford Polytechnic in the UK. In this 41-minute set, the band plays eight tracks, including: "Beelzebub," "The Sahara of Snow" (parts one and two), "5G," "Sample and Hold," and "Back to the Beginning."
