Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
When war breaks out, a female flight attendant flees Beruit, Lebanon to search for her missing sweetheart in this violent political drama. Her search brings her to a church and a band of guerillas led by a sadistic madman. Jalila Baccar, Lamine Nahdi, and Fadhel Jaziri co-star with Fethi Haddaoui, Sahira Ben Ammar, and Fatma Ben Saidane in this award-winning feature. The film received the Bronze Tanit at the Carthage Film Festival in 1988 and won the International Critics Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1989.
