Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Multi-Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Del Walters draws on secret recordings, once-classified films, and hidden documents to explore how American foreign policy hastened the downfall of Africa in this incendiary, eye-opening documentary featuring interviews with such crucial supporters of Africa's independence as former National Security Council staff member Roger Morris and former president of TransAfrica Forum Randall Robinson. Over the course of just fifty years, approximately twenty million Africans have lost their lives in numerous civil wars. According to Walters, those wars can be directly linked to corruption that reaches up to the highest levels of American politics.
