Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This Lubin Western was shot somewhere in the Florida wilderness. The scene is a mining camp, where the rough-and-tumble residents adopt a recently orphaned little girl. The kid is briefly placed in the custody of a handsome young miner, who cares for it in his tiny shack. It so happens that the miner is in love with the mine-owner's daughter, who has previously rejected the man on the grounds that he was too crude and clumsy. But when the daughter sees the tender care with which the miner treats the baby, she immediately changes her mind and accepts his proposal. The film bore traces of the Bret Harte classic Luck of Roaring Camp.
