This series presents the day-to-day lives of an ancient Egyptian village, based on records found of their history. The dreams of the villagers were documented and are offered here, along with their interpretations of the dreams. Ancient Lives: Dreams and Rituals is a tapestry of colorful characters and their activities, with readings from the papyrus of Turin, which further describes individuals and gives more insight into their lives. The treatment of thieves is also discussed. These programs are well suited for high school students, as well as adults with an interest in Egyptian history.
