Synopsis by Sarah Ing

The History Channel documents the battle for freedom which spread around the globe in American Revolution, Vol. 4: The World at War. England's insistence on American domination sparked tensions among other European nations. In 1778, both France and Spain declared war on England. Prussia sent its top commander Baron von Steuben to train the flailing Continental Army at Valley Forge. As the reinforcements arrived, the tide began to turn and Americans saw, for the first time in 200 years, a future free from British rule.
