Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
A documentary following the found-footage style of narrative presentation, this film is primarily a video journal of Shannon Hoon, vocalist of the ‘90s band Blind Melon. Scenes present Hoon as he filmed himself doing mundane things in his personal life or getting involved in activities with his famous band, such as jamming rehearsals and shooting the music video for their big hit, “No Rain.” The footage starts from 1990 up until 1995 when Hoon accidentally dies from a drug overdose. Hoon is given directorial credits alongside Danny Clinch, Taryn Gould, and Colleen Hennessy.
